If you didn’t catch it on our stories last week we attended MomFest, an amazing annual event organized by Mom Halo founder Alana Kayfetz.
MomFest took a bit of a break over covid but for its Homecoming event it blew attendees away with incredible vendors like Good Kid, WeeSleep, ebb & flo nutrition and more. We took in thought-provoking panels, live activations like a tattoo booth (yes real tattoos!) a crazy long charcuterie table and Beer by the Society of Beer Drinking ladies.
“Mom Halo aims to create a millennial mom movement. We are changing the face of maternity leave in Toronto forever. Our goal is simple- We make moms feel like they had a good day by doing something good for themselves and their babies.”
Held at Wychwood Barns Artscape, the beautiful open-air space and decked out autumnal stage was the perfect spot for a live taping of the We Go There podcast. Lexi + Nikki had the chance to interview Alana and get her insights on what it takes to build such a strong community, while juggling the needs of her family and how to have fun while doing it.
